VMware is server and desktop virtualisation
software that helps IT departments turn single physical machines
into several virtual ones running side-by-side, thereby giving IT
departments greater resource utilisation and
flexibility. Global Knowledge expects virtualisation to
emerge in the years ahead as a fundamental IT building block and as
such the demand professional virtualisation skills and skills in
the use of products like VMware will increase.
