Overview: The CCNP certification (Cisco Certified Network Professional) indicates advanced or journeyman knowledge of networks.
With a CCNP, a network professional can install, configure, and troubleshoot local and wide area networks for enterprise organizations with medium–sized networks from 100 to more than 500 nodes. The content emphasizes topics such as security, converged networks, quality of service (QoS), virtual private networks (VPN) and broadband technologies.
Target Audience This certification is intended for network technicians responsible for implementing and managing medium sized business networks.

Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI)
Optimizing Converged Cisco Networks (ONT)
642-892 BSCI and BCMSN Composite
Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN)
Re-certification CCNP certifications are valid for three years. To re-certify, pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum after the 01/01/06. OR pass any CCIE written exam.
